Executive order, 1869 July 10.

Edward M. McCook, Governor of Colorado Territory, directs agent W.W. Rhoades to receive accused felon H.S. Pierce from authorities in Wyoming and deliver him to the Sheriff of Arapahoe County, Colo. Corresponding authorization of John A. Campbell, Governor of Wyoming Territory, for "W.W. Rhodes" to arrest "H.S. Peirce" included. Pierce was apprehended in Cheyenne and returned to Colorado for trial.
